Welcome to the only Japanese-style school in Vietnam

Established in 2016, JIS is a multi-level school from kindergarten to high school following the Japanese educational model, combining the Japanese International Program, the Cambridge International Program, and the Joint Education Program. The school is one of the bridges for cultural, economic, social, scientific and technical exchanges between Vietnam and Japan and the international community.

The goal of JIS is to educate and train generations of young Vietnamese people who are healthy, happy, and have good personalities.

Message from the School Founder

“Towards wisdom” – that is the aspiration and goal of the Japan International School (JIS).

JIS trains wise students – people with a bright personality and intelligence, who know right from wrong, can control their emotions, behaviors, and attitudes; people who have an honest and harmonious way of life, doing good things for themselves and everyone, not only for today but also for tomorrow; have the will to overcome adversity, create a new life, in which taking what happened in the past as lessons to rise up…

In each person’s life, it is fortunate to go to school to meet a good teacher, to go to work to meet a good craftsman, to get married to meet an ideal partner. At JIS, students are not only taught by teachers with solid professional qualifications from Japan, Vietnam, the UK, Australia, etc., but the biggest difference is that students are trained in ethics, discipline, and manners according to Japanese standards and educational methods through every hour of study, living, playing, etc.

We are proud to have a team of teachers from the land of cherry blossoms, famous worldwide for their dedication and discipline, and are spreading those qualities to all members of the JIS family every day to create the best “learning to be human” environment.

JIS does not guarantee that students will become geniuses or great people in the future, but they will certainly know how to listen to their hearts and find ways to use their hands and minds to do the most wonderful things. We understand that, to achieve the necessary skills, each person must practice every day from a young age to become habits, gradually turning into natural actions and creating the qualities of each person.

Educational philosophy

“Wisdom” is JIS’s educational philosophy. Our goal is to train wise students.

• “Wisdom” means a deep understanding of people, things, events and in all circumstances, whether favorable or difficult, knowing how to choose actions to achieve the highest results.

• “Minh philosophic” is also synonymous with wisdom, intelligence, the ability to quickly perceive right and wrong, control one’s emotions and attitudes.

• “Minh philosophic” is a way of living frankly, honestly, always having the will to reach new heights but knowing how to be tolerant, not denying any other values.

“Minh philosophic” is simply living in harmony, good for oneself, good for everyone, not only for today but also for tomorrow, not being conservative, arrogant and arbitrary. Living as we should live, that is the way of living “Minh philosophic”.
