The biggest difference of JIS is that it takes personality education as its core value

To maintain core values, the school pays special attention to training ethics, discipline, manners and ways of behaving for students through each activity and daily work.

JIS students learn and experience tea ceremony with artisans from Japan. Through this useful activity, they are taught about etiquette and ways of behaving.

• About moral education and behavior:

All subjects and activities in the school have the task of educating morality. The essence of Japanese morality is to respect the status of the other person. The subject of morality is a subject that fosters humanity and “intelligence” through thinking.

The big difference in each moral education lesson is that there is no right or wrong answer, but each student must think and act for themselves. From there, students are trained in thinking skills, always thinking before acting, always putting themselves in the position of the listener before speaking.

• Regarding discipline training:

Every day, students must clean the classroom, take turns being on duty, divide rice for their friends, when everyone sits at the table, they wish each other, thank their parents, heaven and earth for giving them a delicious meal, when they finish eating, they greet each other and clean the table, put the chairs back in the table.

Every day, students are also trained in 75 necessary skills of JIS students. The school believes that these skills need to be trained throughout their time at school to form habits, from daily habits to natural actions. Natural actions will gradually turn into qualities of each person and it will create success for each person in the future.

JIS builds an open, dynamic, healthy and safe learning environment, helping each student have interesting experiences, have the opportunity to express themselves, foster gratitude, love and respect for everyone. In addition, the school always encourages students to explore and discover their own unique interests and learning methods.
